The DLR series features unique call options that accommodate the unique needs of different business operations. The Private Reply feature allows users to instantly communicate one to one privately after a group transmission is over. The Call All Available or Page All Available features are flexible group communications that can reach all users available. With Direct Call, you can easily reach a specific individual, enabling instant communication. Operating in the digital 900 MHz ISM license-free band, DLR radios leverage on the Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS), which makes communications more private and reliable when compared to analog radios.
Talk Permit Tone
Promotes orderly communication through the use of a prompt tone that alerts team members when a channel is available and they can speak.
Home Channel
Designates a specific channel as “home” so the radio automatically reverts back if the user was speaking on a different channel. This feature can be easily modified through the radio Advanced Configuration Menu.

Configure special features such as a unique Radio Profile ID, Home Channel, MIC Gain and maximum number of channels. It also allows you to customize the Top Programmable button with different options such as Private Reply and Call All Available.

By setting up your radio fleet with a unique 4-digit Radio Profile ID number, you can assure private communications without interference. Using Computer Programming Software (CPS), configure a Private Group to achieve the highest level of privacy.

OMG, crystal clear sound
I was not sure if we need six channels or not but for only $10 more I figured why not. The radios are incredibly clear and easy to use. I would highly recommend them. We are only using 2 channels, one for customer service employee's and one for management. Love the fact you can go private and talk to only person if needed. Clear, good distance and long battery life.
