Introducing the next generation of the classic TK-3230 series, the Kenwood ProTalk® PKT-300! This latest model offers the same combination of power, size, and battery life of the original TK3230 series and adds even more! At less than five ounces, it's compact and lightweight enough to carry almost anywhere with ease. This makes the PKT-300 a great choice for use in hospitality, retail, restaurant, educational, health care and other fast paced, service industry applications. The PKT-300 puts out 2 watts of power for clear comms in busy environments. The 2200mAh lithium-ion battery pack provides up to 18 hours of power with the battery saver on for long shifts. When power is depleted, no worries. The included rapid desktop charger can give it a full recharge in just a few hours! The Kenwood PKT-300 gives you six pre-set channels and lets you select from up to 99 UHF business frequencies. Of course, interference is still not an issue with the addition of 207 privacy codes and Kenwood's built-in Privacy Talk voice scrambling feature. The PKT-300 also features compander, 10-call alert tone, busy channel lockout and Super Lock. The 4 digit, 7 segment backlit LCD display provides easy to read channel and signal information. The front control buttons are simple to use and in an ergonomic form that's easy to hold and operate in almost any practical business environment.

As for durability, the PKT-300 has it. This compact portable handheld radio is built to meet IP52 and Mil-STD 810 C, D, E, F, G and H standards. Throw in a Kenwood two year warranty and the PKT-300 ranks among the toughest two way radios on the market for small business.

    Nice job

Posted by Ethan J. on Feb 8th 2019

We had been using the TK3230 radios and decided to move to digital, these radios are great. The talk to our other radios on the analog side and is so much clearer on the digital side. Over time we will replace our older models with this newer one.

Radios had good range and were quite a bit clearer than the Talkabouts we were using.
