The Blackbox Bantam Series Standard rechargeable lithium-ion battery has an estimated battery life of up to 12 hours to support long work days. Good employers keep a spare battery around for those busy days or when the employee just forgot to charge the radio. This battery is 1500 mAh.

Removing of Battery:
Before removing, make sure the radio is turned off. Then push downwards on the battery latch. Slide the battery towards the bottom of the radio.

Installing the Battery:
Match the two grooves of the battery with the corresponding guides on the back of the radio. Make sure the battery is flat against and parallel to the aluminum chassis. Then push the battery along the guide until the battery latch locks.
