Adult Signature Required: UPS will obtain the adult recipient's signature and provide you with a printed copy. Adult recipients must be at least 21. You may also view the adult recipient's signature online.
We can ship to any address in the US that is verifiable and meets our security protocols. Shipments are made via UPS, FedEx, and USPS. We offer FREE ground shipping on orders over $175 within the 48 contiguous United States. Shipments to Alaska and Hawaii will be assessed an extra shipping charge depending on weight of the products being shipped.
We offer expedited shipping such as Overnight, 2-DAY, and 3-DAY. When calculating your delivery date please remember that packages typically do not move on weekends or holidays. Also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
Orders received by 1:00 pm Pacific Standard Time Monday-Friday will be shipped the same day if in-stock. We will make every attempt to notify you if this does not occur. Orders with radios that require "Custom Programming" will require extra time to ship. When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose.

Late Interest Charge on Unpaid Invoices
There may be a 10% interest charge automatically applied to unpaid invoices after 14 days of due date.
Exchange and Return Policy
Two way radio manufacturers accept returns or exchanges on unused items within 30 days of date of purchase. Two way radio manufacturers or NU Radios will pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of their/our error (you received an incorrect item). All items must be in new condition and include all accessories, packaging and manuals.
Returns or exchanges must be received by manufacturer within 30 days of purchase. If you need to return an item, please Contact Us with your order number and details about the product you would like to return or exchange. We will respond with instructions for how to return or exchange items from your order back to the manufacturer upon receipt of RMA# from the manufacturer.
ALL RETURNS/EXCHANGES must have a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number provided by manufacturer or they will not be accepted and the item(s) will be returned back to you at your expense. We drop ship all of our items and need to make sure they get back to the correct manufacturer warehouse.
Or, if you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the "My Account" menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail with the instruction for the return or exchange.
All sales are FINAL for the following:
- Radios with missing/removed UPC codes
- Intrusive Headsets, earpieces, and ear tips with opened packages
- Close-out or Clearance items
No Refunds on:
- Custom programming
You should expect to receive a credit on the card that was used within 2 to 3 weeks of shipping your package back to the address we provide. In many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
Returned product needs to be received by the manufacturer within 10 days of the RMA being issued to receive a refund, otherwise only an exchange will be possible. Please insure and track your shipments, as we cannot be responsible for products damaged or lost in transit. A 20% restocking fee may be deducted from your refund. All shipping & handling fees are non-refundable.
Returned items will be refunded if in new condition, in original undamaged packaging and purchased within the last thirty (30) days. A 20% restock fee will apply as well as a 5% merchant transaction fee (except ACH or Checks) . Custom programming costs will be deducted from the refund.
Simple Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel an order that you recently placed, simply call or email us with your order number and request that your order be cancelled. We can not cancel an order if it has already been shipped or processed by our distributor without incurring a cancellation fee which would be passed along to you. If you wish to cancel an order that has already been shipped, you will have to return it for a refund. Our normal refund policy will apply.
The customer agrees not to stop payment on any types of payment including but not limited to Credit Cards, Checks, ACH, or Check Drafts. Any charges of a stop payment or dispute to any bank or payment processor will be in direct violation of this agreement and all charges associated with this action will be passed on to the customer, not limited to attorney fees and bank charges.
Trial Equipment Policy:
We are pleased to offer you the opportunity to evaluate our equipment before making a purchase decision. This allows you to assess its suitability and performance for your requirements. Your trial period spans three (3) days from the receipt of the equipment, during which we encourage you to thoroughly test its capabilities in various scenarios.Should you choose to proceed with the purchase, simply settle the invoice provided. Alternatively, if the equipment does not meet your needs, kindly inform us, and we will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) for you to return it to the manufacturer's warehouse within the 30-day return window. We will furnish you with the necessary shipping details and instructions along with the RMA. Please ensure the equipment remains in pristine condition, with all original packaging, accessories, and manuals included. You will be responsible for covering the shipping costs both for receiving and returning the equipment in the event of a non-purchase decision. Should you require an extension to the trial period, please submit a written request, and subject to the manufacturer's return policy, we will endeavor to accommodate your needs.
Sales Tax Info
The amount of tax charged depends upon many factors, including the location of the warehouse the products are shipped from, the type of item purchased, and the destination of the shipment. Items sold by NU Radios and shipped to destinations in the state of California are subject to sales tax based on your credit card billing address and/or your ship to address. (See below for other states rules).
We do not collect sales or use taxes in all states. For states imposing sales or use taxes, your purchase is subject to use tax unless it is specifically exempt from taxation. Your purchase is not exempt merely because it is made over the Internet or by other remote means. Many states require purchasers to file a sales/use tax return at the end of the year reporting all of the taxable purchases that were not taxed and to pay tax on those purchases. Details of how to file these returns may be found at the websites of your respective taxing authorities.
How Tax Is Calculated
The tax rate applied to your order will be the combined state, county and local rate for the address where your order was shipped to and based on the warehouse it was shipped from.
United States Government Purchases
Sales tax does not apply to purchases made by the U.S. Government. In order to document that a sale has been made to the U.S. Government, we need to obtain a copy of one of the following:
- Federal tax ID certificate
- Certificate of exempt status
- Photocopy of your qualified U.S. Government Credit Card (Smart Pay Card)
- Government Voucher / Purchase Order
- Check directly from a U.S. Government entity
If tax has been charged on any portion of your order and you need to take advantage of your tax exempt status please notify us within 24 hours of your order being placed. In those cases we can facilitate a tax exempt refund but you will be responsible for providing acceptable proof of exempt status for the state where the items will be shipped.
Internet Sales Rules SOUTH DAKOTA v. WAYFAIR, INC.
In June of 2018, with a 5-4 ruling in favor of South Dakota and against online retailer Wayfair, the court decided that states can require merchants to collect sales taxes for online purchases. Companies selling over the Internet are subject to the same sales tax collection requirements as any other retailers. Internet sellers (i.e. NURADIOS.com) are generally required to collect taxes in states that require us to do so, with each State having different thresholds and the minimum being $100,000 in sales and 100 transactions in the trailing 4 quarters. (Example: In South Dakota, online sellers that have sales in the state exceeding $100,000 or more than 200 transactions to residents in the state have to remit sales tax. In New York the numbers are $300,000 or more than 100 transactions.) Alaska, Delaware, Montana, New Hampshire and Oregon have no state-level sales taxes. All of this is subject to change depending on your local and state government laws.
