The NX-P1300ISNUK Digital / Analog offers the ideal solution for communications in construction, manufacturing and warehousing, retail, hospitality, facility management and hazard applications and environments where the presence of a potential spark, heat or flame could potentially create a safety hazard. Such environments that will find a need for this type of radio include oil rigs and refineries, gas mains, coal mines, engine rooms of seafaring vessels, chemical plants, factories, emergency scenes involving First Responders, and other environments where there are potentially explosive or hazardous materials.

The Kenwood NX-P1300ISNUK Digital / Analog  is engineered to be durable and water-resitant. The NX-P1300ISNUK Digital / Analog  has passed IP54/55 dust and water intrusion tests and also meets or exceeds MIL-STD 810 C/D/E/F environmental standards and comes standard with the KNB-68LC 2000 mAh Li-Ion Intrinsically Safe Battery Pack. This Kenwood Intrinsically Safe product meets Intrinsically Safe Classes I, II, III, Div. 1, Groups C, D, E, F, G hazardous locations and Non-flammable (NI) Class I, Div. 2, Groups C, D hazardous locations. Not currently rated for Class A, B hazard. locations. Note: This battery MUST be charged only in a KSC-25 Charger that is included with radio ONLY.
